The 24th Session of the IOC Assembly (IOC-XXIV) took place in Paris at UNESCO headquarters, 19-28 June 2007. François Gérard, I-GOOS Chair, introduced the agenda item on GOOS for discussion. The IOC Assembly adopted 15 resolutions which are available on the IOC website (subject to final copy editing); among them, Resolution XXIV-7 deals with the Programme of Action for GOOS. The summary report of the Assembly will be posted by the end of July.
