The Symposium on Global Earth Observing Systems, scheduled on the afternoon of 3 July 2007, shall give an overview of all major international developments of earth monitoring systems, as well as those within the IUGG associations.
The Symposium on Global Observing Systems, Past, Present and Future, scheduled on the afternoon of 4 July 2007, will concentrate on the societal benefits of earth observations in the context of the many global programmes contributing to GEOSS, including GCOS, GTOS, GOOS and IGOS Partnership.
