National GOOS

Currently there are 71 nations conducting activities on a national level as a part of GOOS. Each provides the I-GOOS committee with information regarding their activities each year. The nations perform wide range of tasks in support of the GOOS effort such as donating buoys to the program, providing personnel, allowing access to data, conducting training, equipping volunteer observing ships, and donating funds.
