GOSIC Update
Wednesday, 22 October 2008

gosic-banner_august-07.jpg

GOSIC has just completed an overhaul of the web site.  Take this opportunity to explore its new features.  Now the data portal includes links to most GOOS partners, programmes, GRAs and data sources in an organized and simple manner.  Data sources are now presented in the GOSIC Data Access Matrix , allowing investigators to quickly locate data by measurement type, geographic distribution or observation programme.  In addition to serving GOOS, the GTOS and GCOS programmes are also represented by the GOSIC pages.

GOOS member states are periodically questioned as to the extent of their contributions to GOOS and the ever expanding observation system.  The GOOS National Commitments/Activities Summaries displays these findings and is updated almost monthly.
